Our Story
Hyper Local Flowers
Our daughter has ignited a love of nature in our family. We spend a lot of time outside and adore stepping into our own backyard. There's always something to notice - new bird calls, a bud finally opening, or the first kiss of autumn on a leaf. The quieter and more curious we became the more the flowers called to us. There is something so intimate about getting to watch flowers grow and develop and I believe, when you know who grows your flowers and where they bloom, you get to experience that intimacy and joy too.

Flowers and Connection
Why Flowers?
I marvel at the link between flowers and human connection. Flowers seem to be able to span all experiences - first dates, friendships, celebrations, loss, and both hellos and goodbyes. They are the growth of thoughtfulness.
So often now, it’s hard to remember the connection between life and flowers. Today, many flowers are grown in giant factories, flown all over the world and controlled with chemicals, paints, and even glitter. I think this devalues the energy we feel from flowers. Knowing where your flowers are grown, who is tending to them and that they are sharing the same fresh air, rain and sun as you, creates a connection. To bring flowers into your home the same day they’ve been harvested reinfuses that shared experience. They catch your eye differently, they move and change in the bouquet and they bloom right in front of you. Fresh local flowers invite delight and discovery, all from simply growing right in your own neighborhood.
Growing is to Hope
Why We Grow?
The act of planting a seed is to hope. It's an investment in the future. We start researching and planning far before it's time to plant seeds and many plants develop for several months before the first bloom arrives. There's a beauty and steadiness in knowing flowers take time. You notice the little changes, tend to the evolving needs of seedlings and you learn to be patient. Growing flowers is full of unexpected challenges and joyful discoveries. Most importantly, a flower in bloom does not last forever, so they invite us to pause and notice. They help us appreciate the beauty of what is right in front of us.
